February 23 7:00P-8:00P (Athlete Focus) 7:00P-8:00P BIO Troy has become an internationally-acclaimed writer, voice, and advocate since his 2009 recovery from a lifethreatening eating disorder after a guest appearance on the “Dr. Phil Show.” He has been a dedicated activist and educator for mental health, eating disorders, faith, and healthy body image. With his strong desire for writing, Troy has written for multiple national outlets, including, the “Huffington Post”, PBS’ “This Emotional Life”, “Psychology Today”, “Salon”, “NBC Sports”, and more. Troy is currently a Clinical Therapist at Minot State University and teaches in the Teacher Education and Kinesiology Department, within the College of Education and Health Sciences, at Minot State University (MSU), and has been a faculty/staff member since 2013. .pdf
